A Middle Aged Resident of Counseling

Short and Long Term Approach

Areas of Focus

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are looking to better understand themselves, and may be struggling with relational challenges and individual challenges.  I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples on a wide variety of challenges that include but not limited to, work life balance, inner confidence, ADHD/learning disability coping, traumatic and stressful experiences, work and legal, general life stress, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic pain, depression and other concerns.

I tend to blend clinical methods for care to ensure each client feels that their experience is helpful, validated, constructive and safe.  For example, some people may respond well to CBT and Wellness practices, while others make progress when we work with Relational Systems and Mindfulness.  I focus on listening, understanding my client’s story, seeking the positive, building resiliency and confidence, and working over time to achieve their goals.
